Many recent changes

EVERYTHING seems to have changed recently!

Many of us are feeling stuck at home because we are participating in social distancing and "shelter at home" to keep ourselves and others safe.

This is good for our health and the health of our communities, but many of us feel "grounded" because we are out of our normal routines and have fewer choices and opportunities available to keep us entertained.

Some of us may have gone from full-time working parents to full-time working parents and full-time teachers because our children are out of school.

Some of us may now be without childcare and trying to figure out how to work so we can take care of ourselves and our child(ren).

Others may be working in occupations considered "essential" that cannot take off work and stay home, so now we struggle to balance work and homelife even more than in the past.

No matter what the situation, we are all under more stress than usual!

With so many recent changes many of us are struggling when it comes to how to keep up with everything! Many of us were already managing work, homelife, and children and now this ahs become even mroe complicated.

This has been a difficult transition for many of us.

Many of us also worry about making the right decisions for our selves and our families because there is so many extra things to consider: Will we have enough food? Will I still be getting a paycheck? Will the business I work for have to close? Will the stores ever get toilet paper again? How do I make sure my children stay educated and not just spend weeks playing games on electronic devices? Will I get sick? Will my children get sick?

And the list goes on and on!

On top of all of the changes in life, we have to play educator and entertainer to our children who have been and will be out of school for several weeks and are tired of being out of school.

Most of us are feeling overwhelmed and many are feeling more overwhelmed than we had been just trying to balance our normal resposibilities.

What we have to remember is that we are all in this together!
